America is Beautiful: Is it Still Okay to Love Her?

america

Happy Fourth of July, everyone!  God bless America!

This week I am guest posting on the website of writer, photographer, architect emeritus, and Army Special Forces Veteran, Mr. Samuel Hall.

Samuel Hall has been writing for thirty years and is on the board of Oregon Christian Writers.  His website, www.samhallwriter.com, features his weekly blogs and photography.

A graduate of Oklahoma State University, he served in the US Army Special Forces before beginning his architecture practice. He’s active in mentoring men and is lay leader and coordinator of men’s ministries in his church.

He’s done short-term missions to South Africa and Uganda where he conducted pastors training and ministered in displaced persons camps. As part of a four-man team, he traveled in rural areas of SW China to work with ethnic minorities and support the underground church.

He has worked with many writers with featured works in a variety of articles, including the children’s picture book Jesus Loves Us All.  He is represented by Les Stobbe Literary Agency.

He and his wife live near Salem, Oregon and are the parents of three adult children.

America is beautiful, and Americans have historically lavished her with praise.
